Our History

Spera Soft started as an idea with few software products related to healthcare, attendance management, and electronic innovations.

Created first commercial software, Friendly Doctor for hospitals, doctors and patients to keep track of their medical history.

Started new research to create an intelligent water bottle which can measure quality of water within seconds of time and shows reports through mobile phone.

Created the first custom web application for an international client. Provided the project with international level standards and gained experience through that.

Incorporated the company as Spera Labs (Private) Limited to provide software development, web application development, automation and innovation services to world.

Created the cloud based version of Friendly Doctor Software to make accessible the software through anywhere in the world. This version came with capabilities to automate whole process of the medical centre.

Failed the smart water bottle project due to external issues and stopped working on the project. Company goals and objectives got changed in considerable amount.

Started being outsource technical partner for large scale US based companies to provide their all internal software development services and technical support services.

Hired the first set of employees and started company culture creations, training sessions and working process changes by focusing a big goal to achieve as a team within some years.

Started to provide industrial automation services for existing industries and new industries to come. With these services, we were able to support companies/individuals to implement their Automation/IOT ideas in reality.

Started researching a new generation, Mind Controlled Things with the project Chiththa.

Expanded service operations to many clients and expanded the team to 15+ qualified engineers with experience and passion.

Friendly doctor AI version created with AI and ML to improve decision making process of the system and provide predictions for patient health, diseased, drugs.

Provided automation and running system including all hardware, software, devices for first and biggest artificial farm in Sri Lanka while being their automation partner.

Home and office automation system which can control though voice, automated algorithms, through mobile. But this works 100% without internet and very less power resource use.

Expanded service/products operations to many clients and expanded the team to 25+ qualified engineers with experience and passion.

Started a sub company, Spera Studios to provide digital solutions such as Digital Concept Development, Mobile App Development, Game Development Services, AR/VR and Video Production and animations.
